For this tour, you have three options to choose:
- Option 1: Santa Ana - Jaco Beach
- Option 2: Santa Ana - Volcan Turrialba
- Option 3: Santa Ana - Aserri
Santa Ana - Pacific Coast Jaco Beach
- Duration: Between 6 to 8 hours per day
- Distance: 180 to 200 kilometers per day
- Terrain: Rocky and clay in mountains, Rainforest, Rivers to cross, dry and sandy on the coast.
- Weather: Warm and humid, rain depending on the season.
Day 1
You will start with nice and easy trails around the Santa Ana area to get to know the bikes and get familiar with the terrain, after that you will start your adventure going to the mountain town of Puriscal known for their coffee and tobacco plantations. You will see a bunch of those as well as many types of trails known and loved by the local enduro riders.
If you come to Costa Rica, you have to eat a Casado. That is going to be your lunch. This typical meal is packed with carbs that will provide the energy to continue with your journey through single track trails a bit more fast and technical than the ones from the beginning. These will take you to Jaco Beach, one of the most popular beach towns in the Central Pacific.
Day 2
You will explore everything the rainforest from the central pacific area has to offer, you will go to a desert beach to ride in the sand, after a nice lunch we will start going back to the San Jose area going through different trails.
Santa Ana - Volcan Turrialba
- Duration: Between 6 to 8 hours per day
- Distance: 180 to 200 kilometers per day
- Terrain: Rocky and clay in mountains, wet at the rain forests, cloud forest, rivers to cross. Dry and sandy at the volcano.
- Weather: Warm and humid during the day, rain depending on the season, colder in the afternoon and evening.
Day 1
You will start with nice and easy trails around the area of Santa Ana to get to know the bikes and get familiar with the terrain, the main destination of this trip will be the Turrialba Volcano going through the Cartago.
Cartago Province is a small and peaceful province located in the central valley of Costa Rica, bordering the provinces of San José and Limón. It is a visually stunning province with a cool climate and 8 cantons teeming with vast sugar cane fields, extensive coffee plantations and rich farm lands.
You will have the joy to ride really fun trails until you get close to the volcano (the park is currently closed due to volcanic activity) but there is plenty to do around. You will spend the night in a hotel that is also a cheese farm, the temperature out night can go down to 5 degrees Celsius depending on the season.
Day 2
If you ever wonder what is like to be in Mars, day 2 of this trip will interest you. Although the Cartago provinces is known for its lush vegetation, you will ride through some areas of old lava flows and ash during the journey. This is evidence that the area was once home to rivers that flowed with hot magma from the volcano. You will continue riding in beautiful forests with fun and technical trails while you go back to the Santa Ana area, you will not be repeating any trails on your way back.
Santa Ana - Aserri

- Distance: 180 to 200 kilometers per day
- Terrain: Rocky and clay in mountains, wet at rain forests, cloud forest, rivers to cross.
- Weather: Warm and humid during the day, rain depending on the season, colder in the afternoon and evening.
Day 1
You will start with nice and easy trails around the area to get to know the bikes and get familiar with the terrain, after that you will ride some of the best trails in the country going through Cartago. Cartago Province is a small and peaceful province located in the central valley of Costa Rica, bordering the provinces of San José and Limón.
It is a visually stunning province with a cool climate and 8 cantons teeming with vast sugar cane fields, extensive coffee plantations and rich farm lands. After a delicious typical lunch, we will head back to the mountain town of Aserri where you will spend the night in a hotel with spectacular views of the Central Valley.
Day 2
You will explore the mountains of Puriscal and its trails (the preferred trails of the local enduro riders) some of these trails are used in the national championship. After this, you will start making your way back to Santa Ana.

These bikes were made for the Extreme Enduro World Championship and have also been proven to be ready for the Costa Rican best Enduro trails. KTM and Husqvarna off-road Enduro bikes available:
