Thanks to many years of experience with yoga and detox, Vidyamor is able to design your very own personal retreat, which is optimally tailored to your needs. Experience yoga in combination with various types of cleansing and detoxification techniques, including raw food. Since there is only one guest accommodation, you have the great opportunity to enjoy a whole detox and wellness oasis without any other visitors. The withdrawal from everyday routine and the concomitant need for consumerism opens up new free spaces that give you inspiration and creativity. The goal of the purification retreat is - in addition to the physical aspect - to create a spiritual basis for a possible new beginning.
The lessons at this retreat can be taught in German, English, or Spanish, depending on the wishes of the participants.

Accommodation
The oasis can only be reached on foot via a seven-minute walk. The guest house is surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. In addition to the double bed, there is a sofa, which can also be used as a single bed. The property also has a small raw food kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and a private bathroom. A veranda with sun loungers and the lawn with hammock invite you to linger.
Board and lodging are provided free of charge with any booking.
Program
Experience has shown that detox and yoga positively affect the wellbeing and healing process in a short time. Many guests felt "reborn" after the Intensive Purification Retreat.
Prevention instead of aftercare
Since the major part of the immune system is located in the intestine, its purification can be regarded as an important basis for an intact immune defense, more vitality, and increased well-being. For this purpose, effective and painless intestinal irrigation can solve decades-old residues and hardened deposits.
The associated fruit and juice fasting can help the body with detoxification and normalize the acid-base balance, which gets thrown out of balance by processed food, such as white sugar, white flour, excessive meat consumption, or stress.
Liver cleansing is an easy way to painlessly and effectively remove gallstones from the liver and gallbladder.
The parasite treatment is an ideal supplement for fasting and intestinal rehabilitation. It eliminates unwanted "housemates" and can relieve symptoms such as chronic fatigue, headaches, allergies, and others.

A day at the oasis
The stay and the program depend on your personal needs and wishes. You start the day when you feel like it. You will be served your fasting menu for the day. Half an hour later, the first yoga session takes place. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to book additional detox treatments, explore the island, or simply relax. If you feel like it, pranayama and mantra singing can also be included in the daily program.

You can walk directly from the house to the impressive Torre del Time vantage point on the edge of the Caldera de Taburiente, a huge inactive volcanic crater with a diameter of 10 kilometers. If you have a lot of energy, you can continue to the Roque de los Muchachos - with almost 2500 meters above sea level the highest point of La Palma. If you love the sun, Playa de Tazacorte - the sunniest place in Europe - will be your ideal destination.

Yamuna Riedemann
After reaching the titles of a naturopath and Reiki master, Yamuna traveled for several years around the globe. In the Shivananda Ashram in Kerala, India, she got her yoga teacher certificate. In the year 2006, she founded "Vidyamor" together with Olay. It is an oasis for fasting retreats and naturopathy, wellness, and yoga. Since this time, she focused on many different types of cleansing and detox techniques in combination with raw food.
Olay Bowald
Olay traveled many years over all the continents of Mother Earth. He must have been a yogi in his past life as he played many of the asanas as a game when he was a child. In various workshops around the globe, he practiced his skills in the different disciplines of yoga. In the year 2006, he stopped traveling and grew roots on the Canarian island of La Palma, where he founded "Vidyamor" together with Yamuna, an oasis for fasting detox retreats, wellness, and yoga. Since 2004, he has mostly been eating living food only.

Food
On the arrival day Vidyamor La Palma will welcome you with a delicious raw food dinner with fresh salad, avocados, sprouted grain bread, olives, and herbal tea.
This detox retreat provides you with organic fruits and vegetables, both raw and as a juice, to help detox your body. There are mono meals, meaning you can eat as many mangoes as you can, for example, but you can not mix different types of fruit. So it's easier to digest and your body will feel when you have eaten enough.
There will be no starvation like with other types of fasting. It is a beautiful experience to enjoy food in its pure form, just as Mother Nature provides it.
During these days, a cleansing fasting menu will be served throughout the day. This consists of fruits and vegetables, juices, and detox tea. On the last day, some avocados are added to break the fast.
On the day of departure you will be served a vegan Swiss Bircher muesli, along with some fruits, nuts, and dried fruit for your trip.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Santa Cruz de La Palma (SPC). Airport transfer is available for 70 EUR per way (no matter if it is for 1 or 2 people), but Vidyamor always recommends renting a car as it makes your holiday much more comfortable and easy-going.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 16.94% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
