Continue on single trails through the wooded area towards the sea. Arrive at the coast close to Červar Porat.

The trail passes by the archeological site of Roman Villa Rustica which in ancient times produced the amphorae for transport of wine and olive oil. From Červar, the coastal path leads through the area of authentic wild beaches. This part of the coast has kept its original state from times before the tourist boom. Today, it is a popular spot for all the beachgoers, who like wild and pristine beaches. In the afternoon, visit the Porec historical center with Eufrasius Basilica, climb the bell tower, ride, or walk Lungomare Poreč - Šetnica Obale Dr. Antona Šonje and Porec Riva Obala m. Tita.

The hills around Poreč have been inhabited since ancient times; some of them are still hiding prehistorical megalithic forts and shrines. The first part of the tour is spiced up with a few shorter climbs through hilltop villages, which sport fantastic views of the area. Following the curvy roads, you reach Sv. Lovreč.

In this historical town, you can have a great coffee break right beside its ninth-century city walls. You continue through Kringa, which is famous as the home of only Istrian vampire Jure Grando, who was the first vampire ever mentioned in European literature. Tinjan is next on the map; the capital of Istrian prosciutto is the home of some of the best producers of this famed delicacy. The tour continues through Muntrilj and Rapavel to the village of Radovani. From here, you start an easy descent back to Poreč.

This tour is an excellent choice for all those who like to ride through nature, far away from traffic and busy resort areas. You start from Poreč; passing through the village Varvara, you follow the itinerary of the old Roman road, Maximus Agri that in antique times used to connect Poreč with the Istrian hinterland. Close to Jehnići, you cross the highway and former border of antique Poreč Ager. In the village of Katun, you turn left and continue to Višnjan. This ancient town is a great spot for a break.

You suggest a short stroll through the old town and a visit to town Loggia which offers a fabulous view of the north Poreč countryside and Adriatic coast. From Višnjan, the tour continues on forest trails towards Kosinožići. In spring times, these forests are popular finding grounds for wild asparagus. It is quite common to meet the locals in search of this popular delicacy. From Kosinožići, you continue on country roads and forest trails towards Poreč. At the very end of the tour, you join the popular Parenzana railroad trail, which leads you back to the town center.

The varied and dynamic profile of the tour with numerous shorter and longer climbs and descents make it a real treat for all road cycling enthusiasts. The tour starts in Poreč with a mild climb through the vineyards passing Višnjan towards the hinterland.

The most beautiful and the most demanding part of the tour starts at the hill above Mirna Valley boasting a fantastic view of numerous hills with medieval hilltop towns dominated by beautiful Motovun. After the descent into the valley, you reach the climb to Oprtalj, one of the most attractive climbs in Istria specially praised by numerous road cyclists.

Grožnjan, the town of Artists is an obligatory spot for a short break, stroll through the ancient streets, and take time to enjoy the spectacular views of Mirna valley. After Grožnjan, you descend towards Ponte Porton. It is necessary to ride cautiously as the road can be busy and continue to another popular climb to Vižinada in length of six kilometers / 3.7 miles.
