Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine and holistic healing that originated in India over 3,000 years ago. The term “Ayurveda” is derived from the Sanskrit words “Ayur” (life) and “Veda” (science or knowledge), meaning “the science of life.” It is a comprehensive approach to health and well-being, focusing on the balance of mind, body, and spirit to promote harmony and prevent diseases.

  • Ayurveda History

The history of Ayurveda spans over 3,000 years and is deeply rooted in the ancient traditions of Indian culture. It is one of the world’s oldest systems of medicine, blending philosophy, spirituality, and science to promote health and well-being.

In Ayurveda, the Panchamahabhutas - the five elements—form the foundation of the universe and everything within it, including the human body.
