Namibian Off-road Motorcycle Tour

This listing has the most popular offer available in in Namibia

Kaokoland Odyssey is a true African Adventure. The tour visits the regions of Kaokoland and Damaraland in the remote northwest of Namibia. It is not without reason Kaokoland is known as Africa’s ‘last unspoiled wilderness’. The tour is a giant loop into this truly remote wilderness with the Cunene River the northernmost point of the journey. Along the way, you’ll cross great variations of terrain, from rich grasslands, rugged rocky climbs, lengthy navigable dry river beds, desert plains, and the Skeleton Coast. The region is a vast unfenced game park with herds of antelope, giraffes, and desert elephants roaming free. You’ll get to meet the Himba People, a semi-nomadic tribe that lives seemingly untouched by the modern world. The women are instantly recognizable by the red dye that covers their bodies as protection from the sun and insects.
