Weekend Yoga Retreat in England

Women’s Body Wisdom's relax and resource weekend is about embracing your whole self - mind, body and soul. You will gather as women to honour your wisdom, uplift and support each other on your unique journey into perimenopause, menopause and beyond. You will be nourished with delicious plant-based meals to resource your body and mind for optimal health. Time to rest and reflect in nature or to be pampered by a massage will be available. Gabriela and team hope you will leave feeling more knowledgeable and empowered to reclaim your body’s natural intelligence to journey into perimenopause, menopause and beyond with greater ease.

Fair Oak Farm Estate consists of the main farmhouse with 5 beautifully decorated bedrooms and ensuite baths, a collection of converted farm buildings with single or double accommodations, two eco-lodge tree houses, and two converted luxury shepherds huts and hay barn making for a truly unique retreat experience. Each bedroom is unique and so the prices vary to fit the rooms.

Farm House 1 and 2

These shared rooms are beautifully decorated with twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. The farmhouse contains a living room on the ground floor with an open fire, separate reception rooms and plush sofas, an Aga kitchen, and open plan dining room opening to the rear courtyard and gardens. Single rooms are available with a supplement.

Cow Shed 1 and 2

It is an attached barn conversion private room with a double bed and ensuite bath.

Hay Barn

This private studio space comes with a double bed, seating area, and kitchen with a shower room and overlooking the fields.

Shepherd’s Huts

Shepherd’s Huts is a private cabin space with a double bed, kitchenette, log burner, and shower.

Stable Cottage

This is an attached barn conversion cottage with a double bed, bathroom, and living room with a kitchen.

Grain Store

Grain Store is a detached barn conversion cottage with a double bed, bathroom, open plan living room with a dining area and kitchen.

Eco-Lodge Tree House

These unique rooms are set in an ancient tree line and have stunning, uninterrupted views of the valley. Each has an open plan, studio living and sleeping space, fully equipped kitchen, wet room with walk-in shower and decked seating area outside to soak up the views.

Program

Navigating the hormonal shifts that are a natural part of the female experience can take you into the unfamiliar territory of fluctuating emotions and physical sensations. Knowing that you are not alone on this journey and that you are innately equipped with the tools and knowledge to balance your hormones can be incredibly empowering. The transition into Perimenopause in the early 40s and beyond into menopause is one such journey.

Gabriella will guide you in daily meditation, yoga, movement, and breathing practices tailored to the common symptoms women experience in this natural transition. The talented and creative chef Heather Umlah will offer cooking demonstrations and nutrition talks for hormone support. The special guest, Yvonne Henrietta will offer the space for deep relaxation and nervous system support with a Restorative yoga workshop. You will gather at the end of each day to share your reflections, experience the beauty of essentials oils, and widen your circle of connection.

The peaceful setting of Fair Oak Farm is set on a stunning country retreat in a private 12-acre estate in an area of outstanding natural beauty. This beautiful and luxurious venue provides the perfect backdrop to unwind from the pressures of daily life and focus on your health and wellness.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Gatwick Airport (LGW) or Heathrow Airport (LHR). Transfer from either airport is available at an additional cost.

Arrival by car

  • 10 minutes to A21 or A267 with access to M25.
  • Sign posted from Mayfield village.

Arrival by train

Stonegate station is only 2 miles and Wadhurst station is 6 miles, with journey times from only one hour from London Bridge, London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and Cannon St. Pre-booked station pick-ups are available.
