Introduction Course to Basic Form, Qi Gong, and Meditation in China

Come and experience a completely immersive Tai Chi travel course! This is a three-day training arrangement for a winter luxury Island trip. It is a great opportunity to practice with teachers and students. Staying at the beautiful seaside for three days will enable you to really share Qigong and Tai Chi culture. In addition to daily training, it will allow you to have in-depth discussions with experienced masters on various aspects of Taijiquan and how to integrate Taijiquan into your daily life. You also have many opportunities to study and practice with other students.

The accommodation is a four-star with sea view room, single room, double room, gym, swimming pool, surfing on the beach, sun on the beach and cafeteria. The scenery is charming. It is like spring all year round. The temperature is suitable. It is the first choice for leisure, entertainment, tourism and vacation, learning and fitness.

Program

The price covers 12 hours' training altogether, three days' meals, and two night's stay. Apart from the training, you are going to have dinners with the master and practice your forms, which helps you to experience Chinese traditional culture.

You will have free time to explore. After class, you have plenty of time to explore the local culture. The location makes it convenient for you to visit or take a tour around the beautiful seaside city.

The school offers training for all levels.

Classes last three days and include a warm-up and flexibility training, Qi Gong movements, meditation, and Tai Chi. The day is structured according to the following schedule:

  • 07:30 - 08:30 Breakfast
  • 09:30 - 11:30 Morning training
  • 12:00 - 13:00 Lunch
  • 15:00 - 17:00 Afternoon training
  • 18:00 - 19:00 Dinner

Students are welcome to use the facilities for exercise and self-practice outside of class times.

Location

Haikou is special near the deep sea, with beautiful and clean beaches. In winter, the climate is pleasant and the temperature is maintained between 18 and 25 degrees. It is very suitable for people to choose an island for tourism and vacation.

Food

Tai Chi, like Chinese medicine, is all about balance. Good health is maintained by, amongst other things, the ingredients which you take in as food, and the way in which you expend energy.

The chef is a master of the wok and adheres to these principles. Every day teachers and students enjoy a well-balanced diet cooked in the traditional Chinese style and made from ingredients that are sourced fresh every day from the local farmers’ market. Each meal contains a large choice of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

Food is not just important for its ingredients, but also for the way you eat, and in China, it is hard to imagine eating without sharing. Everybody sits around the same table to share the ingredients of a meal eaten in common. Eating in China is a social event, so while you eat together, you share experiences from all walks of life, all ages, and every part of the world.

Because the training site is located on the beautiful beach, you can go swimming in the sea and basking in the sun. There are many things to see and do. You can go hiking or cycling along the beach, or visit some tourist attractions. You may like some other cultural services or tourism, but the cost will be extra.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Haikou Meilan International Airport (HAK). From the airport, you can take a taxi to Hainan Baohua Harbour View Hotel.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
