The retreat will take place in a sea view ecohouse, a small rural hotel located in the magical surroundings of Pou des Lleó and Cala Boix, only a few steps from the beach. It is a very peaceful spot, with a small medicinal plants garden and 3 horses.

It has a familial atmosphere where each one is invited to respect the house and the environment, using water and electricity responsibly, changing towels only if necessary, non-smoking and alcohol-free zone in all areas. Wi-Fi- free, so this will be a great opportunity to switch off and relax. The silence will help you to do so.

Telephone coverage is capricious on the site, an opportunity to immerse yourself into an introspective time. Artisanal local products on request. Shampoo and natural soap made in Ibiza.

The yoga lessons will take place on a shaded outdoor wooden terrace, under the pine trees. The buffet daily breakfast is served in a lovely shaded outdoor dinning area.

The rooms are very quiet and clean, overlooking the garden or the sea (for the larger rooms for 4 people). The rooms are with 2 single beds and a private bathroom. There's a possibility to have a larger room including a private living room, at an extra cost. There is also the possibility to have a private apartment with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and, a living room, with the sea view, on request.

Program

The details of the program will depend on the abilities of the student, as Opale will compose unique bespoke sessions, after checking on the arrival day and both the wishes and the physical possibilities of each person. She will be providing teachings of the flowing yoga sequences that will suit best your personal needs.

In her classes, you will be invited to focus on being present with whatever is there. You will learn with clarity and simplicity the tools of centering, grounding, accepting, softening, and smiling. You will enhance the fluidity, lightness, and grace in your practice, whilst getting at the same time more stability, integrity, and confidence.

By being more kind, playful, curious and creative, you will encounter more freedom, trust, balance, and courage. Potentials and transformation become accessible.

Mindfulness

Did you know that the stiffest muscle of your body is in your mind? You are mostly limited by your mind. By learning to smile and relax the mind, direct your attention in the right place, and initiate your movements from your center, you’ll find space in the body, allowing you to flow with lightness and joy in the practice, whilst increasing stability, integrity, and confidence.

Experience a unique approach which integrated the tools of mindfulness into the physical practice of yoga.

Learning the unique technique of Sukhita yoga

Sukhita flow yoga is a dynamic and flowing yoga, using free body sequencing, in movement or in stasis; guided by the rhythm of each breath, deep, and conscious. The session becomes one big flowing sequence, done with awareness and joy, a meditation in motion.

With a practical step by step program, you will practice a wide variety of asanas, learn to correct your alignment; guided by hands-on adjustments from the teacher. The use of different variations of postures permits you to go deeper into the final asana and allows you a precise understanding from a new point of view.

Suitable for all: The classes are designed in such a way that both the beginners and the regular practitioners will benefit from the yoga course. Suitable variations are always proposed along the way. They welcome complete beginners and those who have practiced yoga for some years.

As the days will pass, the rhythm of the class and the number of the asanas will increase. The student is invited to keep cultivating the ability to softly listen, to his/her body, mind, emotions, to the energy of the moment, practicing within their own body’s limitations.

Opale is very attentive at the correct placement of your body in the posture, to avoid pain and physical problems caused by improper alignment. She considers the practice of yoga as an essential tool to cure oneself.

The foundation of the teaching is coming from Sukhita yoga, the yoga of happiness. You will practice 3 hours of daily yoga on a shaded terrace. Morning sessions will be followed by a delicious lunch.

All sessions include asanas (yoga postures), Vinyasa (sequence of poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), and mindfulness meditation. Pilates exercises will be incorporated into the teachings if desired. This is to ensure there is some specific focus on improving your core and help to build and strengthen the muscles supporting your spine.

If you have an ongoing physical condition, Opale will design a program specially created to address your ailments. This is a unique opportunity for the student to receive an undivided attention.

The location is a very peaceful in a small rural hotel, in the midst of nature, a few steps from a tranquil beach. If you’re seeking to switch off, relax, and discover secret spots in the "other" Ibiza, it is the place for you! The island of Ibiza, over the last 50 years, has become a focal point for alternative living. But in the last decade, it has grown as a very ecological and healing orientated location.

Known as “the white island” for the curing properties of its white clay, Ibiza is nowadays a worldwide famous destination for nature lovers and yoga practitioners. A place where people feel the freedom to express their own individuality and explore different ways to connect with their inner self.

Things to do (optional)

An ideal location, very close proximity to the quiet beach of Cala Boix, where you can find lovely restaurants, some offering seafood, and local fish. Great place to hike around the location. About 10 minutes drive, on Wednesdays, Es Canar hosts the famous Hippy Market of Punta Arabi. On Saturdays, Las Dahlia’s hippy market happens near San Carles. And on Sundays, San Juan host a lovely handicraft market with live music. The famous Dalt Villa medieval town is about 30 minutes drive. You can also get a 1-hour massage for 60 EUR.
