The Oresteia Presidential Villa is a truly stunning, luxury villa, featuring several 5* bedrooms, workshop area, and a private 100sqm infinity pool looking over the ocean.

Bedrooms can be configured as twins or kings, depending on whether you wish to have your own, or share with another guest (this is what most of our guests do!)

Each bedroom has an ensuite, balcony or terrace and access to the shared kitchen, pool and lounge area.

For retreats with larger capacity, a second and sometimes even third villa will be secured. These villas are just as beautiful, and are located within a short walk of the villa (although cars will also be on hand if required).

Learn to love yourself, feel confident in who you are, and trust your own decisions. Clarify the next chapter of your life, let go of what no longer serves you, and do deep work on your belief systems. Develop practical and personal strategies backed by neuroscience, positive psychology, and NLP. Spend 7 days doing immersive, transformative work.

Without an understanding of who we are, an awareness of our value, and what we truly value, we can feel a sense of unease within ourselves, even a dislike for ourselves. This can lead to dysfunctional relationships with others and a constant struggle to understand our true identity.

Confidence

If you can recognize your own authenticity but lack confidence, being around people who intimidate you (such as in interviews, dates, or new situations) will make it difficult to be yourself. You may either become "someone else" or hold yourself back.

If you're authentic and confident but lack an understanding of your brain and a resilient mindset, then when "life happens" (such as losing a job or going through a breakup), the authenticity and confidence you had before will fade away. Mindset is the magic glue that keeps everything together!

Day 1

This marks the very exciting beginning of the self-empowerment journey! On the first day at the retreat, the foundations will be established to break free from the things preventing participants from unlocking their full potential.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Welcome talk and brunch – An introduction to the group and a celebration of taking the first step towards a more empowered future!
  • Exploring the villa – Free time to unpack, settle into stunning rooms, and explore the villa and surroundings.
  • Group bonding activity – It’s vital that everyone feels comfortable, so an activity will be done to help get to know the other guests on a deeper level and begin building a supportive network.
  • Intention setting workshop – After dinner, a deep dive into the “why” will provide greater clarity on the motivation for transformation.

After this session, there will be time to wind down and relax before a restorative sleep.

Day 2

Day 2 will empower you to grow comfortable and confident in their own skin. With a variety of workshops and exercises, they will be challenged to reframe their mindset and gain a greater understanding of who they are and what they’re capable of.

This involves:

  • Breathwork workshop – Wim Hof breathwork will be taught, a simple, accessible, and scientifically endorsed technique to realise physical and spiritual potential.
  • Boat trip excursion – A half-day speedboat trip to explore the breathtaking caves around Zakynthos in a relaxed and refreshing setting.
  • Explore – After the excursion, there will be the opportunity to explore Tsilivi or unwind at the villa before enjoying a delicious dinner.
  • Journaling and check-in – After dinner, the group will head to the firepit to journal; this practice will become second nature before the end of the week.

Day 3

On the third day of the retreat, participants will start to understand the reasons for their actions and thought processes. The day will begin with private time, Wim Hof breathwork, and breakfast before a series of workshops to reassess limiting belief systems and unresourceful mindsets.

This includes:

  • Intro to your brain workshop – Everything there is to know about how the brain works, with guidance on how to relate it to unique experiences.
  • Rewiring the brain workshop – A workshop to understand existing mindsets and equip participants with the techniques to literally rewire their brains.
  • Gratitude circle – Gather around the firepit with question cards to prompt deep conversations and eye-opening self-realizations.

Day 4

Day 4 revolves around themes of confidence and self-acceptance. Each workshop is designed to ground participants in acceptance by replacing negative perceptions with positive and mindful foundations of confidence and empowerment.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Sunrise hike – The opportunity to practice mindfulness on a silent, 40-minute hike to the summit. At the top, participants will release something that no longer serves them.
  • Self-acceptance workshop – Learning to accept and be grateful for the circumstances that have led them to this point, while releasing unhelpful feelings surrounding them.
  • Self-image activity – A reflection on self-perceptions, unveiling how they’ve been viewing themselves and how they can navigate toward a more positive understanding of themselves.
  • Regret release – Designed for those who feel unable to let go of the past, participants will be guided into looking toward the present and reframing their lives in a more positive light.
  • Confidence workshop – Taking place around the firepit, participants will explore science-backed ways to regain and reclaim confidence in all areas of their lives.

Day 5

Day 5 is centered around the process of transformation. Practical strategies will be established to shatter the debilitating seeds of self-doubt and replace them with unshakeable foundations of safety and security.

Starting with Wim Hof breathwork and breakfast, the day will then include:

  • Identity workshop – Reflecting on current identity and how it differs from the future, more empowered version, while establishing tangible goals to work towards.
  • Dickens process – A powerful process of leaving behind limiting beliefs and adopting new, empowering ways of thinking that support the life they want to live.
  • NLP transformation workshop – Through Neuro-Linguistic Programming, participants will rewire their subconscious brain to destroy deep-rooted patterns of self-doubt.
  • Surprise evening!

Day 6

As the retreat nears its close, Day 6 will be spent preparing for the bright and beautiful future participants once lacked the confidence to imagine for themselves. With clarity and confidence, Wim Hof breathwork will be practiced before:

  • Goal getting workshop – Focusing on long-term goals for the future, participants will learn the importance of adopting a sense of purpose and identifying a set of personal values.
  • Reflection activity – After the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their lives so far and reshape the future narrative by establishing foundations built on new, powerful values.
  • Roadmap activity – Individual work will be done to create a roadmap to support the achievement of goals in the days, weeks, and months after the retreat.
  • Group circle – The group will come together around the firepit one final time to share the progress made and celebrate the journey that’s just beginning.

Day 7

Day 7 is the last day of the retreat but by no means the end of the journey. The final day marks the exciting beginning of the self-empowerment journey. Continuing to form positive habits, Wim Hof breathwork will be practiced before experiencing:

  • Future you workshop – A session to guide participants in visualizing the future version of themselves to keep their goals at the forefront of their minds.
  • Goodbyes – The group will part ways with a free optional transfer to Zakynthos town or the airport.

The Accountability Club – After the retreat, private access to the Accountability Club (accessible only to ex-retreat attendees) will be offered. Included excursions

Boat trip

The second day of the retreat, you'll head out for the day and explore the island from the water! Zakinthos is famous for its electric blue water and Carretta-Carretta sea turtles, which - if you're lucky, you'll see (and more) on this trip!

The caves around the island of Zakynthos contain high levels of Sulphur, which has an effect of turning the water a mystical blue. All of those videos and pictures you've seen on social media, they're not edited!

This excursion for many people is one that whilst relaxing, nudges guests to start thinking about how staying within their comfort zone may be holding them back and gives them a chance to start heading into their stretch zone.

It is also a great way of helping everyone feel more comfortable around each other.

Sunrise hike

Mid-week, you travel to a place called Skopos where you hike up to a viewpoint with gorgeous views over the sea and villages. Please note, this is not an intense hike. It takes around 40 minutes to hike up so requires you to be physically able to do so, but does not require an especially high level of fitness.

But this isn't just a hike...

Walking up in silence, the hike begins with a mindful practice to help you practice tapping into the present moment and focusing on appreciating the 5 senses whilst noticing what thoughts come up.

At the summit, all guests take part in a powerful activity, targeting their own personal intention for the retreat.

After the hike, we'll head to a taverna on the beach to enjoy a well-deserved breakfast!

The island

Zakynthos is an island that inspires the imagination and engages the senses. The spectacular villa is located in the Tragaki area, on the captivating Zakynthos Island.

Oresteia Presidential Villa

The Oresteia Presidential Villa is a beautiful villa sitting just 300 meters from the beach, 5 minutes from local cafes and restaurants, and a 25-minute stroll to the popular town of Tsilivi (Planos).

The villa is located just 5 minutes walking distance from the sea and a wide variety of restaurants and bars are located just 10 minutes walking distance from the villa. It is also only 12 minutes driving distance from the lively town of Zakynthos, and 20 minutes from Zakynthos airport.

Tsilivi

The town is popular for its beaches, beach clubs, sunset-view restaurants, and even a water park! Please note, whilst Zante can be known for its wild parties, the retreat and its location is far from that. So if wild nights out are what you're after, this retreat is most likely not for you!

Food

During the retreat, a private chef will serve a fresh buffet breakfast each day (apart from day 1 where you will enjoy a brunch to open the retreat) and a hearty, Greek dinner in the evening.

This retreat isn't about fancy 3-course meals or 5-star cuisine, just simple, healthy, plant based meals influenced by Greece!

Every meal will have gluten-free options, and all meals will be vegetarian. You are welcome to bring snacks and use the fridge to keep them cool.

For lunch, fruit, and other snacks will be provided, and you will also have the opportunity to have left-overs from dinner (of which there are usually plenty!) Otherwise, lunch is left up to you - venture into the town to pick up some local produce, or enjoy a lunch at one of the many restaurants!

Things to do (optional)

Each day, you will have free time for lunch and to explore the local area, with other windows of time during the retreat where you can choose to be alone and enjoy the beautiful island however you please. At the start of the week, you will be given a full schedule of all activities and timeframes.

  • Tsilivi water park!: Whilst no famous waterpark by any means, this is a great place to come to if you want to do something during your free time!
  • Watersports: Their villa sits on a cliff overlooking the sea and is only a 5-minute walk from a 2-mile stretch of beach. There are always local watersports companies scattered along the beach if you're after some exhilaration!
  • Fantasy mini-golf: A 25-minute walk into the town and you'll find yourself at fantasy mini-golf!

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Popular ways of getting to Zante are to fly straight into Zakynthos airport - Expedia for instance has 4 flights out to Zante from Gatwick, EMA & Stanstead on the 15th and return flights on the 22nd. Zakynthos airport is only a 20-minute drive from the villa, which can be easily made in one of the many airport taxis that will take you right to the villa.

Drop-off to Zante Airport is included on the last day. A second stop in Zante town is also offered for those with later flights, and this is included as well.

Alternatively, you could choose to arrive at Cephalonia International Airport (EFL) or Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos Airport) (ATH) for cheaper flights and the chance to explore another part of Greece, before arriving in Zakynthos.

Both Athens and Cephalonia are just a short flight or ferry from Zakynthos.

YOUNI Retreats advise that all attendees arrive in Zakinthos the day before the retreat begins, so as to have a buffer for possible delays, and to recover from any lost sleep or stress of travel.

Please note that closer to the event, you will be added to a group chat with the other attendees, where you may then wish to share travel plans so that taxi costs can be shared.
