Well rested, after breakfast, you go to the high plateau of Lassithi. A great exit on serpentine roads and curves without end. At a small mountain church, you take a little break to enjoy the fantastic view. The Lassithi Plateau is a must-visit for every Cretan traveler. On the way back, you drive over Mohos, with its typical Greek marketplace, where you can enjoy very good Cretan cuisine in an original Greek tavern.
Day 3: Tour 2
After a restful night and a hearty breakfast, you leave at 10 o'clock at the hotel. Via Heraklion, you drive into the high mountains via Anogia to the Nida Plateau. With good visibility, you take the driveway to an observatory and shoot incredible holiday pictures. Continue on a fantastic off-road tour to Zaros on the lake, where you can not get fish fresher. Delicious!
Day 4: Tour 3
After breakfast, you leave for the south of Crete. Across the island, you drive along the Messaraebene and through the gorge of Tripti (tip) to a beautiful beach. From here, you drive to Masala, one of the most spiritual places in Crete.
Matala is a small fishing village that has not lost its unmistakable charm to this day. Here you have the opportunity to visit the world-famous caves of Matala. In these caves, the ancient Cretans buried their dead. In the mid-sixties, Hippys recognized these caves and lived there until the 1970s. Even today you can see many old hippies who visit this place again and again.
You will love Matala. Great beach, please do not forget your swimming clothes.
Day 5: Free day
Tour free day. Anyone who wants can explore the island by motorbike on their own. Gladly gives the tour guide tips for a trip!
Day 6: Tour 4
Today you drive first to Agios Nikolaos. In the beautiful port of Agios, you take your first break. Continue on the northern coastal road. At the narrowest point of Crete, you cross the island to the south side. In Koutsouras, you have the opportunity to refresh yourself with a small snack. From here, you continue in the direction of Sitia and start the return journey on the North Coast Road.
Day 7: Tour 5
Today you go to the south again. You drive via Lassithi to the south side of Crete, via a super-serpentine descent to the small village of Tsoutsouros. From here, continue on the coastal road to Keratokambos. Little tourism, long sandy beaches, and very good food. Here you can get fit on the beach or in the sea for the trip home the next day.
