The surf instructors really made it. So happy and cheerful everyday. I started not knowing how to surf and was abit nervous but they gave great instruction from the start. After every wave they would say what was wrong and how to improve. By the last day they challenged me with some reef surf, it was difficult as I had to paddle out first time and I got tired but the experience of surfing a long wave was amazing. They were also so happy that I'd improved so much and it really has given me the itch to improve more and keep at surfing 🌊 I think it's a new hobby for sure I want to keep at and come again.

There was also great videos created whilst surfing that we went through at the bar, these helped me to understand what was going on when I wasn't thinking about the waves so more to think about later on.

Outside of the surfing instructing too they were really friendly we went out on a night out, shared story's and chilled.

Super instructors both surfing and yoga, very friendly staff, great food.

Amazing staff, stunning location, very patient instructors, and extremely relaxing.

Nothing is too much.

Everything was exceptional… place, villas, staff, surf, yoga, martial arts, massages… I couldn’t recommend anywhere else with as much security as Mondo… you will thank me later! Do yourself a favor, if you visit Bali, make it a point to stay here for a few days, a week, a month… it’s never enough!

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und das Personal sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Ein guter Ort, um aktiv zu sein und zu entspannen. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt direkt um ein paar Tage verlängert. Wir waren bei verschiedenen Surfspots und konnten uns mit gutem Feedback verbessern. Ich hatte zum ersten Mal Yoga Sessions, es wurde gut erklärt und auf die verschiedenen Level der Teilnehmer eingegangen. Sontags können Ausflüge gebucht werden. Massagen werden ebenfalls organisiert. Das Essen ist vielfältig und lecker.

Da ich während der Regenzeit hier war, war es überall etwas leerer. Die Schauer waren eine nette Abkühlung und stören beim Yoga und Surfen überhaupt nicht.

Man fühlte sich wie in einer Familie, das Personal war freundlich. Essen war sehr gut und man hat viel Auswahl auch zwischen vegetarischen Alternativen. Yoga und Surfen war großartig. Preis Leistung ist unschlagbar.

I booked a Surf&Yoga package for a week + 1 night at Mondo Village in a shared room.

The team at Mondo is absolutely lovely and made me feel at home. I loved the calm of the location, Komang's team delicious cooking, Badur & Mika surfing lessons, Agus' bartender skills and discussion, Tio's videos and jokes, Iluh's yoga sessions, Eka's kindness at all time, the music together...

I left Mondo a bit sad not to have booked longer and will probably go back when I get the chance to visit Bali again!

I could not recommend Mondo Village enough if you are looking for a good rest and surfing lessons for complete beginners. I was impressed of my own progress and very touched by the patience and dedication of the surfing instructors <3 (love you guys!)

The best experience !

Die Surflehrer waren sehr kompetent und es wurde generell auf die Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Alles ist ziemlich entspannt- ein späteres Check-Out war beispielsweise kein Problem. Die Stimmung war sehr familiär! Das war das Highlight meiner Meinung nach.

I likes the room very much. Very clean and modern. After a very hot day, I was thrilled to have air conditioning, ( not used to the tropical weather there).

I was very happy with the staff and food.

Beautiful breakfast and dinner, with a BBQ style dinner on the Saturday night.

The surf instructors were good but I am an intermediate surfer. I was happy to do a couple of beginner lessons to start but then I wanted to be left to my own devices. It seems one of the instructors had an issue with this!.

I was lucky enough to do a little of Bali touring, as I managed to scoop two other people who wanted to do a tour that day.

All in all, it was a nice experience, however I may do my own thing next time.

Areal yoga, food and facilities

Les cours de surf étaient vraiment bons. Les gars sont geniaux, gentils, serviables et plus que compétents. C'est vraiment le point fort du séjour.

I had a great time in Mondo. The staff is really helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was exactly what I was thinking about when I thought about Bali..

Lieu superbe avec très bonne atmosphère. Tout le monde est adorable. On se sent comme à la maison... mixe en couples et personnes seules . C’est parfait

Le lieu du village est extraordinaire, un peu reculé dans la brousse de Canggu c'est très tranquille et les infrastructures sont super.

Le personnel est très sympa et les instructeurs de surf et yoga sont très avenants et patients.

What I found most positive about the retreat was how nice the staff were. So helpful and while there you don’t need money which makes the whole experience so much more relaxing. They organise everything for you with out any hassle .

I loved the accommodation. The rooms were cleaned daily. There was also a fridge for fresh fruits or other stuff.

Also there was no obligation to attend either yoga or surfing which i appreciated very much. That way nobody feels bad doing a spa day ;)

The surf coaches and yoga teachers all very encouraging and looked after this granny very well

The yoga was amazing and the location was beautiful!
