As you press through the final chapter of the day you press your bikes to go even faster to signal your enjoyment to the land. It‘s 70 times the size of Manhattan and feels unreal in its dark and timeless demise. The lava fields differ in ages and means of how they were formed, some are barely ten years old while others are ten thousand years old. As you venture further into Ódáðahraun you will experience its mountains, Herðubreið, Upptyppingar og Dyngjufjöll. Truly remarkable mountains that have risen from the fires below. As you bombard further north you exit the uninhabited no-mans-land to find a warm welcome at a luxurious hotel at Mývatn, a tranquil but immersive large lake that certainly soothes your minds as you drift into sleep.

This area is the paradise of the enduro-bike and you‘ll soon understand why the enduro god made this his home. This day will surprise any biker with joy and excitement as you track through Iceland‘s northernmost volcanic-area. After your fun and games with the god of enduro you soak your selves in Jarðböðin á Mývatni, perfectly attuned hot pools with geothermal water straight from the source. The trick of the trait here is to soak yourselves completely in the hot waters and deeply relax every muscle in your body. A remarkable crater with supernatural water that propels your imagination into the world of dragons and heroes and make no mistake, you are the riders of the moon, and today, you are the heroes.
