All the techniques we went over had real world practicality and were clearly the end result of lots of thought and experimentation by the instructor.

Don't expect to learn stuff that looks cool, but instead be ready to learn realitively simple techniques that, once mastered, are extremely effective in dealing with dangerous situations.

Even though the course is less than 2 weeks, you will come away with an essential foundation for self-defense.

Also, be ready for a deep dive into Jewish history, and a local's perspective on the state of Israel. Whether you agree or not, hearing the viewpoint of a people who's history practically revolves around being persecuted is an excellent way to gain a deeper understanding of the current political situation.
