Set just above the shoreline and within walking distance of Aegiali Bay, Sea Rock offers a calm and intimate environment where comfort, simplicity, and natural beauty come together to support deep learning and personal transformation.
Sea Rock is an integral part of the Aegialis School of Yoga experience, hosting the residential aspect of the training as well as morning practices and selected sessions. The venue features a custom-made geodesic yoga dome (100 sqm) with panoramic sea views, offering a powerful and grounding space for yoga, meditation, and embodied practice. High-quality yoga props are provided to support safe, precise, and comfortable practice throughout the training.
To enrich the training experience, some theory classes and practical sessions, as well as lunches and dinners, are held at Aegialis Hotel & Spa, allowing participants to experience additional shalas, shared spaces, and the broader Aegialis environment while maintaining a cohesive and well-supported program flow.
Surrounded by the raw landscape of Amorgos and open sea horizons, Sea Rock invites a slower rhythm and a deeper connection to nature. The atmosphere is quiet, spacious, and intentionally designed to encourage presence, integration, and reflection.
Accommodation at Sea Rock includes single or shared rooms in double, triple, or quadruple arrangements. All rooms are thoughtfully designed, offering sea views and a relaxed, understated aesthetic to support rest, inspiration, and recovery during the training.
Program
If you are curious about teacher training but not ready for a full 200 hours, the 100 hours format is a good place to start.
You will experience the same approach to practice and learning as in the 200 hours training, in a shorter format. It is suited to practitioners who want to go beyond regular classes, refine their practice, or explore yoga from the inside without committing to a full certification.
The training includes daily practices, breathwork, meditation, posture exploration, and theoretical foundations, with a strong focus on awareness, alignment, and intelligent movement.
You will learn the basics of applied anatomy and physiology and how to work with the modern body, as well as philosophy, in order to reflect, question, and find direction and purpose in times of disconnection.

Exploring Amorgos Island
Amorgos island offers many opportunities to enjoy its natural beauty. There are over a dozen walking trails, with the most amazing views. Discover the authenticity of the island from the local villages. Visit Amorgian traditional houses, meet the locals and learn about the island’s unique customs.
By far one of the most unique experiences on the island is a visit to the Monastery of Hozoviotissa (which is included in the excursions). Located near the famous Agia Anna beach, this important Greek monument has great historical significance to the country as it is the second ever built church in Greece. Built 300 meters above sea level, the upward journey to the actual landmark provides a peaceful walk with breathtaking views of the Big Blue.
Amorgos has plenty of beautiful beaches, some of the most popular being Agia Anna, Agios Pavlos, Mouros and Aegiali. Whether you prefer sand or pebbles, everything is possible in Amorgos. You can swim in the crystal-clear water or enjoy the beach life, relaxing on the sun loungers and under the beach umbrellas, which some of the beaches provide.
Spa treatments
You will receive a complimentary full body massage from the highly skilled therapists at Lalon Idor Spa. Other body and beauty treatments are available from the spa menu at an additional cost.
