Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Delhi
This is the arrival day to Delhi, you will check-in at a hotel, attend the tour orientation session and meeting your rides for the first time.
Day 2: Delhi to Mandawa (260 kilometers / 162 miles)
The first riding day of the tour starts now. Ride from Delhi to Mandawa, a wonderful small town that is widely known for its historical monuments and havelis.
Day 3: Mandawa to Bikaner (190 kilometers / 118 miles)
Ride from Mandawa to the beautiful city of Bikaner on the edges of the Thar desert which is surrounded by desert vegetation. The magnetic charm of this city lies in its rich culture and heritage.
Day 4: Bikaner to Jodhpur (250 kilometers / 155 miles)
Ride from Bikaner to Jodhpur which is called the "Blue City," referring to the color of the old city houses surrounding the majestic Mehrangarh Fort.
Day 5: Jodhpur to Udaipur (260 kilometers / 160 miles)
Ride from Jodhpur to "City of Lakes," Udaipur. This beautiful spot was the historical capital of the empire of Mewar and is surrounded by a wide range of ancient temples and mesmerizing countryside.
Day 6: Udaipur to Pushkar (280 kilometers / 174 miles)
Ride from Udaipur to the lakeside town of Pushkar where you will enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and get an insight into rural Rajasthan within the calm and tranquil beauty of the town.
Day 7: Rest day in Pushkar
As you reach the most peaceful destination in the tour, you will get the chance to enjoy a full day of rest, exploration, and shopping at one of the most sacred Hindu dhams.
Day 8: Pushkar to Jaipur (145 kilometers / 90 miles)
After a refreshing break in Pushkar, you ride to Jaipur, a city well-known as the "Pink City" and for being the capital of Rajasthan.
Day 9: Jaipur to Agra (240 kilometers / 149 miles)
Ride to the medieval city of Agra, the home of one of the ancient seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal.
Day 10: Agra to Delhi (210 kilometers / 130 miles)
The last leg of this tour takes place between Agra and Delhi as you get back to Delhi after you have ridden for almost 2,000 kilometers on your scooter around the colorful state of Rajasthan.
Day 11: Departure from Delhi
Depart from New Delhi airport.
Notes
- Wearing a helmet during Cross India Challenges' tour is mandatory. If you do not wish to bring your own helmet, they have a helmet rental option at very reasonable prices
- Pillion riders must be 16 years of age or older
- A valid international driving license with motorcycle endorsement is required to be able to ride the motorcycle in India
- Before the tour starts, you will be asked to sign your scooter rental agreement and pay a security deposit of 300 USD (in cash). The security deposit will be returned to you in full at the end of the tour if there are no damages to your motorcycle / scooter, otherwise the cost to fix any damages will be deducted from the security deposit and the balance will be returned to you
