All applicants are screened for psychological, psychiatric, and physiological criteria before admission.

Safety

Because they want to maximize your safety, they require all applicants to fill out a screening questionnaire on their mental and physical health before admission. While they strive to adhere to the best-known therapeutic practices and professional standards, they currently do not treat mental illnesses.

This is why they do not admit participants with e.g. diagnoses of depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or anxiety disorders.

Quality

Group dynamics are paramount for a powerful experience – hence, unfortunately, they cannot accept every applicant who passed the mental and physical health questionnaire.

They aim to assemble a coherent yet diverse group of participants who can support each other during and after the program. They designed the program for people who are willing to look at themselves lovingly and honestly.

Evolute Institute would like to highlight that taking psychedelics (psilocybin-containing truffles) is not the primary goal and intention of EvoSHIFT. Rather, they perceive psychedelics (psilocybin-containing truffles) as an instrument for insight and development, an extraordinarily powerful “consciousness technology”.

Given the right mindset, ceremonial setting, preparation, and integration, psychedelic experiences can potentially catalyze profound development. To induce a deep state of altered consciousness, the participants consume their own legal psychoactive psilocybin truffles on the day of the guided psychedelic ceremony.

These truffles contain the psychedelic molecules psilocybin and its phosphorylated counterpart psilocin. Once ingested, psilocybin is metabolized by the body into psilocin, and then unfolds its serotonergic effect – what people usually refer to as “the trip”.

The dose of ingested truffles can be adapted to each participant’s individual profile and preferences.
