Through careful preparation, respectful facilitation, and post-retreat integration, you will be supported to bring the insights of Ayahuasca into your daily life in a grounded, sustainable way.
Safety
To ensure the safety and well-being of every guest, all participants will go through a confidential screening process before being accepted into the retreat. If, for any reason, it is determined that participation may not be safe or suitable, the booking will be refunded in full.

Itinerary and training overview
The six-day retreat is part of a structured training programme to ensure that all participants are properly supported before, during, and after the retreat, with practical tools to integrate their experiences.
Pre-retreat training (online)
Participants will join four preparatory sessions online before arrival. These sessions will focus on mental, emotional, and physical preparation, as well as grounding practices, intention setting, and understanding the ceremonial process.
Day 1 - Arrival and orientation
Arrive at Porto Airport by 15:00 and transfer to the centre. Settle into your private room and explore the grounds. Meet your facilitators and fellow participants for a gentle orientation session and opening circle.
Day 2 - Ceremony day
There will be morning restorative practices, including yoga and meditation, to ground yourself. There will be an afternoon preparation session to set intentions and review ceremonial guidance. There will also be an evening guided Ayahuasca ceremony with support from the facilitators, followed by gentle reflection and journaling.
Day 3 - Integration and training
Practice morning yoga and mindful movement to process insights from the previous night. The afternoon integration session will focus on practical tools for applying lessons in daily life. There will also be a group discussion, somatic exercises, and reflection.
Day 4 - Ceremony day
Have morning grounding practices and optional one-on-one support, followed by the afternoon preparation for the evening ceremony. There will be an evening guided Ayahuasca ceremony, followed by group sharing and integration support.
Day 5 - Transition day
Practice morning yoga and mindful movement to process insights from the previous night. The afternoon integration session will focus on practical tools for applying lessons in daily life and creative expression as we start the process of transitioning back into daily life. There will also be a group discussion, somatic exercises, and reflection.
Day 6 - Integration and transition
Have a light breakfast, followed by a final integration circle to consolidate insights and set intentions for your life beyond the retreat. There will be guidance on post-retreat integration, journaling, and applying the learning in everyday contexts. You'll then be transferred back to Porto Airport for flights departing after 16:00.
Post-retreat training (online)
Four follow-up sessions will be offered after the retreat to support ongoing integration. These sessions help participants embed their experiences, develop self-awareness, and maintain the gains made during the retreat.
The combination of pre-retreat training, ceremony days, integration work, and post-retreat support creates a comprehensive framework that bridges the ceremonial experiences with modern life, providing lasting transformation and practical skills for wellbeing.
Instructors
Melissa Layton
Born and raised in London, Melissa is a certified life coach, lawyer, healer and retreat facilitator, experienced in cultivating and curating retreats and workshops to facilitate personal healing and transformation. Her own journey has been heavily influenced by the teachings of Ayahuasca, which inspired her to combine this sacred medicine with integrative coaching to create a framework for deeper transformation, healing and growth.
Mo Haque
Mo is a Jungian coach, author, and TEDx speaker, also initiated by the Shipibo tradition. He specializes in integration, guiding participants to translate their experiences into grounded psychological and spiritual growth. Drawing on a range of somatic tools and Jungian depth psychology, Mo equips individuals with practical tools to become masters of their own healing, turning insight into transformation.
