Paulina Gostomski
Paulina first came to yoga in 2003, and yoga and meditation have been at the heart of her life ever since. Over the years, she’s guided retreats, teacher trainings, and workshops across Mexico and Europe, and what inspires her most is seeing the peace and transformation these practices bring to people from all walks of life. She’s trained with many teachers, completed two 200-hour trainings, and in 2017 finished the 500-hour Hridaya Teacher Training. Teaching has been part of her journey since 2012, yet she remains a lifelong student.
Floris Adriaenssens
Floris started his yoga practice in Belgium in 2008. Through a dedicated and continuous practice, he has discovered the deep transformation and purification on all levels that it has brought and continues to bring. Since he met Paulina in 2011, he has been living mostly in yoga ashrams, communities and schools in Mexico, India, Spain and France. Floris has been teaching over the last years more than 10 yoga teacher trainings, as well as many other retreats, courses and classes. He has learned yoga from different teachers and traditions.

Perfect place to disconnect and find yourself
I joined the Hridaya Yoga Retreat, and it was simply amazing. Paulina and Floris, the owners, welcomed me with open arms, literally. They greeted me with a warm hug and had even arranged to pick me up from the bus station. Who does that nowadays? It was such a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the entire stay.
You can feel how much love and care they have poured into creating this special place. It’s reflected not just in the beautiful surroundings, the stunning natural setting, the mountains, the peaceful forest but also in the energy of the people who work there. Everyone radiates kindness and authenticity.
The yoga and meditation sessions were led with so much heart and professionalism. Every detail is cared for with intention, making it easy to relax, let go, and reconnect with yourself. I felt safe, supported, and truly at home

Heaven at Ananda Forest
Wonderful and inspiring teaching. Really integrating the emotional, physical and spiritual very organically and effectively. All 3 teachers were encouraging and sensitive, whilst giving me helpful challenges. I learned a lot of postures or variations I didn't know, also about pranayama, chakras, mantra-chanting and spiritual perspectives — all really good stuff. I came away feeling deeply inspired and renewed on all levels. It felt like the teachers are really living their teachings.
A very beautiful location: secluded enough to feel secluded, yet only about 30 minutes walk to Orgiva. I loved the dry river bed miraculously becoming a crystal clear river after it rained. And the oranges, figs, pomegranates. Very tasty and healthy food, felt like it was prepared with love.
Very harmonious group of fellow-students. It felt very friendly, but it was also fine to take time alone if needed. I enjoyed everyone, and felt like I'd like to get know people better.

An unforgettable experience 🙏
Where to I start. Each instructor brought a different outstanding quality to all of the teachings. From the opening ceremony it was clear we were all there for an immersive experience, to go deep and expand our practice. This is exactly what we received. A serious outlook on the entire yoga path, from deep learning, meditation, pranayama and asana. Our schedule began early but allowed free time for meals together and inward reflection. For me, the first days were tough as I entered the space of inward observation. The shift began mid way through as the effects of the teaching were absorbed. The facilities are completely eco, nurturing the land which is so important. We were respected and gave respect in return. Along with many laughs, shared experiences and abundant joy.
The vegan food is prepared by wonderful volunteers and a professional chef, the meals were inspiring with so many layers and flavours!
Would recommend this retreat in a heartbeat. Much gratified to all beings at Ananda forest. Satya Shanti and Amba too 🙏💕🪷

A must do for all pregnant women
This prenatal yoga retreat by far exceeded my expectations. Paulina, Floris and their professional team took very good care of us with amazing fresh food 3x times per day, extensive yoga and meditation sessions with focus on our babies and bodies, workshops from an experienced natural birth midwife, sharing moments, etc. The daily practices took place in a beautiful wooden temple, built in the mountains in between old olive trees and Jasmin flowers, with a transparent screen to protect us from any bugs but with a continuous natural breeze and view on the landscape. The only sounds were the birds and crickets. Being in this calmness and surrounded by this loving and caring vibes we felt that pregnancy is something sacred. Which we don't allow to feel in our daily busy lives. Sharing this with other pregnant women made it even more special. I hope all pregnant women allow themselves this gift! I recommend this prenatal retreat specifically because of the beautiful natural, honest, warm, beautifully simple location and vibe that Floris and Pauline and their cutest daughter Amba create. Especially coming from busy daily live, (as many of us..) this was a great way to escape from that and allow this time. Thank you, forever in my heart.

a truly transformative experience
The Earth Mama prenatal yoga retreat was exactly what I needed to (re-)connect to my baby, myself and nature. The place is calm and beautiful and has a serene vibe. Great vegan food prepared by awesome volunteers. Paulina and Stefi are very competent yoga instructors and truly wonderful humans on all levels. They shared their experiences as mothers, yogis and doula. The yoga and meditation sessions, the massage and all other activities were great. I also enjoyed being surrounded by other (future) mothers. All of this really helped me find peace, relax and focus on my journey into motherhood and prepare for it on a mental, spiritual and physical level.

Everything honestly it would be hard to choose one thing because it is the whole experience that made this retreat amazing. We loved how complete and balanced was the program for the week. Good amount of yoga practice, but also rest time, time to discover the beauty of the region, delicious meals cooked with love by beautiful souls... It felt like the perfect balance for us

Beautiful time with Amaratva Yoga
This was a beautiful few days. I chose Amaratva yoga because it seemed to follow the principles of yoga most authentically compared to other retreats and I definitely felt this whilst there.
The days were very well paced- nothing felt rushed but I was also never at a loose end with so much nature around to enjoy.
It showed how Floris and Paulina had worked with the nature around them to create a setting that felt in harmony with the green surroundings.
The yoga and meditation classes were beautifully taught with a good amount of variety and a good length.
There were also many other activities such as conscious movement, sound bath and bajan singing circle.
Paulina and Floris are warm and genuine and welcoming.
This felt like coming home!

Great experience
I really had a great time at Armanda forest: the location, facilities and food are qualitative but more importantly the two teachers Paulina and Stefania did an amazing job in taking care of us. I really recomand any pregnant women to take this break for themselves and their babies.

Amazing surrounding and competent yoga teachers
First of all is to say that this spot of earth is just amazing. The property is located in the middle of nowhere in between of some rocky mountains that remind on the lion kings scenery. During the week I could observe how my entire organism was reconnecting closer and closer to nature. There is hammocks between olive trees, rosmarin, yasmin flowers open at night and spread a wonderful odour, at night I picked some lavender and sat with my tea in front of the tent watching the stars at a beautiful nightheaven.
The food that was served each day on time by the volunteers was extraordinary and they even put themselves in charge of providing me with some extras as I have a couple of intolerances.
All of the yoga teachers were super experienced and led competently through the classes.
The program was always a bit different each day so it was hard to get bored and it was also kept flexible according to the wishes of us, the participants.
The group feeling was a very nice one, we were having quite some laughs while dining or having lunch/breakfast together.
Also I enjoyed pretty much the activities like the sunset walk and the trip to the waterfall.
Also I have to mention that I shew up a day too early by accident, nevertheless I was picked up and welcomed by everybody and could move into my tent a night earlier.

Wow! An absolutely fabulous hidden gem 🥰
From the moment I walked into the retreat space I was welcomed with love. The surrounding area has a powerful healing energy, magnified by the warmth and compassion by the owners and facilitators on the retreat. Surrounded by nature, the outdoor showers were spotlessly clean and a wonderful experience. The food was tasty, fresh and plentiful with a garden full of figs, pomegranates and citrus trees. Classes were fantastic and suited all levels (I consider myself a beginner but there were advanced yogis in my group). The experience has deepened my appreciation of nature and all my blessings. I cannot wait to return.

Einfach perfekt!
Alles! Paulina und Floris sind unfassbar liebe, inspirierende Kursleiter, die mit viel Ruhe, Geduld, Liebe und Leidenschaft weitergeben, was sie an vielen Stationen gelernt haben. Eine wunderbare Zeit, für die ich sehr, sehr dankbar bin. Der Ort ist unendlich schön, mitten in den Bergen, mit Blick aufs Meer und den Sonnenuntergang. Off-Grid, Öko und trotzdem sauber, ordentlich und gemütlich.
