Program
Your sessions are based on hands-on cooking, where you not only see how the food is prepared, but also do it yourself. You start from the basics of food preparation, such as marinating, cutting, chopping, etc. Your classes are really fun, where you are part of a group and also know the details of the dishes you are learning. You can also enjoy the hot meals you have cooked after the session. You will explore India in its kitchens, know what you are eating, and learn how to cook Indian meals on your next vacation to this incredible land of culture and heritage. A land where what reaches your plate changes with each season. A land with a food philosophy of simple eating and simple living is followed for a calmer mind.
Sample of the dishes prepared during the class
1. Masala chai
You will start by learning to make this traditional Indian spiced tea upon arrival.
2. Main dishes
You will prepare two main dishes: butter paneer curry (cottage cheese with butter with a lot of indian spices) and a seasonal vegetable curry.
3. Indian bread
You will learn to make roti or chapati, the famous Indian bread made with whole wheat flour.
