Cute apartment at the ground floor of an elegant block building in Rapallo, at walking distance from the city centre and the sea promenade. The apartment can accommodates not mre than 3 people (adults) as it offers 1 double bedroom and 1 extra bed in the living room. A colorful and nicely furnished living room leading to a cute balcony, 1 fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower complete the apartment. Air conditioning system and free wifi service are available in the apartment. Car park is public along the street passing by the block building.

Anna from Mandilli de Saea is pleased to welcome you to this part of Liguria, and offer tailor-made vacation stays, specifically arranged for those who love genuine local food and cooking in a traditional way.
You will be accommodated in a comfortable apartment located downtown Rapallo. You will also be taught the art of the local cuisine and lead to experience this region through wine tastings, typical restaurants, street food stops while visiting a few coastal interesting spots and enjoying a special guided trip inside Genoa historical city centre. Chance it, you will never regret it.
Cooking lessons
You will be introduced to the secrets of this simple but savory cuisine, while you prepare its typical dishes yourself. Each workshop will last three hours, either in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the menu and the requests. In any case, Mandili de Saea will provide a relaxed, learning experience while creating the same atmosphere as found in typical Italian homes, also using local products.
Have real fun preparing Ligurian dishes such as Pansotti with hazelnut sauce, lasagna with pesto, stuffed vegetables, pizza with anchovies, cheese Focaccia, and much more. The cooking sessions foresee the active involvement of the participants, from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 people, and will end by enjoying a tasting session or a real dinner together, wine included. The meals will be based on the dishes prepared under the friendly guide of the cook and enjoyed on Anna's cute terraced garden overlooking the gulf.
Included excursions
Two guided full day excursions are included in the price. 1 guided tour around Portofino area, 1 guided tour in Genoa historical city center. While not in the kitchen with Anna, she will also be your guide through your tours inside Genoa and along the Gulf of Tigullio coastline. She will introduce you to the historical and cultural atmosphere of these places sharing her Italian life style with you.
Instructors
Anna Minghetti
Born and educated in Milan, Anna gained there a considerable and diversified career as office assistant in sales and export departments until 1991. After a 3-year study and work stay in Dublin (Rep. of Ireland), she returned to Milan and continued her career as personal assistant at international companies until 2002. After moving to Liguria in Chiavari area, in 2003, she proudly opened her B&B, thanks to her command of English and French and her familiarity with public relations. She had to close down her B&B in 2012 but since then, she has been dealing with the promotion of the tour.
Location
The accommodation provided for this holiday is at "Casa Isolina" Apartment located in Rapallo downtown. Rapallo is a cozy and popular coastal town close to Portofino, with its own bay and historical promenade along the sea shore. The cooking session can be held either in the apartment itself or in Anna's kitchen (the cook) in the village of Cogorno (the same area, at 20 kilometers from Rapallo).
