Rooted deep in spirituality, Sedona is a vibrant and colorful town in Arizona. Just two hours north of Phoenix and set amidst the Red Rocks, it is a gorgeous choice for a health and wellness retreat.
The area is home to an incredible array of wellness hotels offering infinity pools, spa centers, fitness facilities, and incredible restaurants.
Outdoor activities prevail in Sedona. You can hike to a vortex, go swimming in Oak Creek, take a kayak tour, or go mountain biking. But if you prefer a more laid-back approach, go on a walking tour of the arts galleries, watch the night sky, or have coffee with a gorgeous view.
Because of its special desert location, Sedona is best visited in fall (October and November), when the weather is mild and there are fewer people on the trails. Another good time to visit is in spring (March to May), when the weather starts to get warmer but it’s not yet hot.
