The other one is a cute apartment in Rapallo downtown, at a walk distance either from the train station and the sea promenade.
Program
Enjoy your Italian holiday along the Ligurian Riviera while learning the secrets of its local cuisine. It is a great opportunity to experience the real Italian lifestyle along a narrow coastline between Portofino and Cinque Terre. Anna from Mandilli de Saea is pleased to welcome you to this part of Liguria and offer tailor-made vacation stays, specifically arranged for those who love cooking traditionally.
You will be accommodated in a charming guesthouse, or, according to availability, in a characteristic countryside and independent house in the hilly area overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio with Portofino promontory, or in a cozy city center apartment along the coast. You will also be taught the art of the local cuisine and lead to experiencing this region through wine tastings, typical restaurants, and guided trips. Chance it, you will never regret it.
Cooking lessons
You will be introduced to the secrets of this simple but savory cuisine, while you prepare its typical dishes yourself. Each workshop will last from three to four hours, either in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the menu and the requests, and will take place in Anna's kitchen, near your accommodation. Anna, the cook, will provide a relaxed learning experience while creating the same atmosphere as found in typical Italian homes, also using local products.
Have real fun preparing Ligurian dishes such as Pansotti with hazelnut sauce, lasagna with pesto, stuffed vegetables, salty pies, pizza with anchovies, cheese Focaccia, and much more. The cooking sessions foresee the active involvement of the participants, from a minimum of two to a maximum of six people, and will end by enjoying a tasting session or a real dinner together, with wine included. The meals will be based on the dishes prepared under the friendly guidance of the cook and enjoyed in Anna's cute terraced garden overlooking the gulf.
Included excursions
Two guided excursions, one around the Portofino area, visiting the coastal characteristic villages reminding you of the "dolce vita" time, and one in Genoa's historical city center. One street food and wine tasting are also provided for each excursion. Outside her kitchen, Anna will be your guide during your excursions showing you around and telling stories about the places you visit, but most of all she will be sharing her Italian lifestyle with you.
